My instructor was Peter Anderson He really boosted my confidence and calmed my nerves driving (especially when he knew that certain aspects used to really freak me out), and he was very patient and straight to the point. He was always up for a laugh as well as ensuring I was always learning and improving my driving. He’s a very experienced instructor who I could’t recommend highly enough to anyone. I passed my manual license test today at the first attempt. It wouldn’t have been possible without my instructor (Peter Anderson). He was quick to identify where I was going wrong and how to improve. He was also patient when working through problems that I found difficult to work past.
He also had a great sense of humour which helped settle me if I was feeling under pressure from other road users.
Overall the proof is in the results and I now hold a license so 10/10 would recommend to a friend (and already have!).

I have recently passed my driving test with PassFaster driving school under the tutelage of Peter Anderson. I was a little weary of who to take my lessons with due to the many driving schools/instructors in the city.
However, I was recommended Peter by a family member (who had recently been taught by Peter) and I’m so glad of it. From the very first contact with Peter he was approachable and had a good sense of humour which made me feel at ease. Peter made me feel comfortable and I was confident from the first time we spoke that I’d made the right choice.
I was initially apprehensive about learning to drive but came to really look forward to taking my driving lessons with Peter, despite his ribbing of me for being an Everton fan (I’d say the fact he is a Liverpool fan is the only negative I can say about him – although he’s one of the good ones).
Peter has a knack of explaining what is required and always went the extra mile to help me take the steps forward I needed to progress to where I am today.
Peter demonstrated excellent knowledge of not only the technical but mental aspects of learning to drive and driving, so much so it was at times like sitting next to Mystic Meg as he knew what I was going to do or was thinking without me speaking – I’m still awaiting them lotto numbers from you Peter!
I would and will be recommending Peter to all who ask and I would consider him a friend. Thank you Peter!
I’ve just passed with Peter Anderson as my instructor and I cannot recommend Peter enough. He immediately put me at ease and knew exactly where to focus to improve my driving skills effectively. Peter Anderson was a great an a patient instructor, as most people expect driving skill to be easy to obtain in my case it wasn’t however due to Peters immense experience and the knowledge of the role he has to execute he helped me pass my driving test from the first go.
Just passed first time after learning with Peter Anderson who’s been a great instructor that I’d highly recommend. Never had any problems whatsoever, always reliable with scheduled lessons and always on time.
Always provided clear explanations and instructions out on the road. Also has a good way of telling you where you’re going wrong without ever seeming harsh or critical.
Worked at a nice pace, never felt rushed and got all the topics covered well before the test date. Even looked beyond passing the test and gave me some good tips for driving in the future.
Overall, great instructor and a good laugh too.

Just traveling home from a fantastic week! Learning to driving with Peter Anderson, This as, me and Peter joked will be the last time I travel to and from wales from Liverpool on the train as I PASSED!! my test this afternoon!.
Something that I wouldn’t of been able to do without Peter.
From the first phone call I received from Peter I felt confident, and I would find it very comfortable driving under the inscription of this man! He goes that extra little mile to help! He’s funny with a wicked sense of humour which suited me down to the ground! With regular chats about football and the beautiful hills of wales really helped me conquer my driving! Without of course distracting one another from the main topic we had in front of us haha!
I would 100 percent recommend peter to others (this is something I have already done). And I would also after spending more hours with him this week than I have done with my own wife I would also call him a mate!
Thank you pass faster, for picking such a brilliant driving instructor for me to learn from, honestly without Peter I would be on this same train with that horrible green plastic still in my wallet but instead I’ve got a brand new pink one in the post and a blue certificate in my bag!

Peter Anderson was my instructor- patient, dedicated, understanding and very experienced guy, who knows his stuff and will get you a pass. I passed first time after lots of personal set backs in my life the past few years. Negative past experiences had affected my confidence and I thought I was never going to drive but I did it. I couldn’t have done it without Peter by my side. Thank you so much! Xx
I passed my test today on the first time with only two minors.
My first instructor was Peter. He basically taught me how to drive from scratch. His instructions were very very clear. I had no problem understanding him at all considering my first language isn’t English. He knows exactly what the examiners look for and his instructions are exactly the same as the examiners. He is very strict for some basic rules, such as mirror signal position speed and road position, which helped me to deal with more complicated situations at the later stage and also helped me avoid minor mistakes in the real test. He is also very familiar with the test area (Garston). He will take you to all routes the examiners might take you. Another point I would like to make is Peter recommended me to go to Aigburth station since I was living in city centre. You can consider whether it is convenient to you.
Since my theory test will expire in one month, I had to change an instructor at the end. Kevin is my second instructor. Kevin’s style was very different from Peter’s. After the first lesson with Kevin, he said I was ready to book for my test, which really boosted my confidence and made me trust myself more. From that point, I feel like I suddenly can drive haha. He also taught me the gearing theory. Lower gear gives more power and higher gear is more economic, which really helps me to decide which gear I should use in any situations. He also taught me how to approach a roundabout and right turns. His method is very logical and useful in real life driving. He is able to pick me up from where I am living, which definitely saved me lots of time. And I also got chance to drive in the city centre and practice my gears by dealing with lots of traffic. Kevin only works on weekdays but can do evening lessons and his timetable seems more flexible. I usually book my lesson a couple of days before, which helped me to fit my driving lessons into my busy work schedule. He drew everything on an IPad by using colourful lines and he can draw a simple car within 2 seconds, haha. Very impressive. I loved it. The only point I want to make is it is very difficult for Kevin to be on time, usually 15 minutes late. But it is not a big problem when you know about it .

From the very first lesson he understood me, how I worked, what caused me stress and my lack of confidence I had in myself. Every lesson he worked on different things with me or if something specific was bothering me, he made sure we went over it until I felt 100% and got it right.
Peter is very reliable, patient, understanding and honest when I needed the truth. I could not praise him enough. Peter is exceptionally professional but also has a great sense of humour and able to take a joke… good job as I accidently insulted his ‘old’ age a couple of times! Ha!

I hadn’t been in a car for 10 months since failing a test in November 2015, so Peter took me on an assessment lesson and advised me to book 10 hours to get me to full test standard. I thought this wouldn’t be enough, but I booked the 10 hours as advised. I provided Peter with the dates and times of my availability, which he adhered to as best as he could in order to give me a solid driving schedule leading up to the test date. Peter was extremely patient throughout my endless questions (there were a lot!) and errors (even more than the questions!), and he told me exactly what I needed to hear in order to calm my nerves. This year, I’ve had 40 hours worth of driving with Peter (- clearly not a natural ) and, finally, I passed! Peter is the best driving instructor I’ve had. He was very experienced in dealing with the pitfalls and traps of being a learner and gave excellent advice. It feels as though he cares very much about you, as a student, and is very accommodating in trying to fit you in (time wise) and about addressing your needs. He’s also a good psychologist (which is very much needed if you’re prone to getting overwhelmed and turning into a rabbit in headlights). The only down side is that he doesn’t drink or eat sugar so you have to be creative in buying him a present when you pass!
